The Honourable Frances Adamson AC, Governor of South Australia

It is my great pleasure to be patron of the Leaders Institute of South Australia and to continue the fine tradition of support offered by my distinguished predecessors. Fostering our state’s leadership, now and for future generations, is one my key focus areas as Governor. South Australia in the 21st century faces economic, environmental and social challenges and opportunities that can only be approached with great vision, creative thinking and courageous leadership.

I am pleased to be involved with the Governor’s Leadership Foundation Program, the Institute’s flagship activity. Each year it brings together a diverse group of South Australian leaders to deepen their self-awareness, their understanding of the complex issues facing our society, and their engagement in taking on these issues. I thank the Leaders Institute of South Australia for its pivotal role in ensuring strong, visionary leadership for our state into the future.
