Leaders Institute Session for GLF and Alumni

Dan Levy

Creative Thinking for Complex Problem Solving

Many of us are stuck in the day to day – the ability to innovate and develop new ideas can seem out of reach. The tools of design thinking provide an effective way to change your perspective and experiment with new and innovative ideas.

This session will help you reframe how you tackle problems in your organisation to gain buy-in and customer alignment. You will be guided through a hands-on and highly interactive activities where we will present ways to stimulate critical and creative thinking for collaborative problem-solving. The approaches used are designed to be repeatable and easy to implement.

The session will

  • Introduce the principles of design thinking and its value to critical thinking.
  • Challenge the way you collaborate and communicate with different stakeholders and across teams.
  • Share a process for prototyping and testing to quickly learn if you are focusing on the problems worth solving.
